Clinical Trials

Men’s Health Boston offers patients access to investigational therapies through our clinical research program. Quality clinical trials advance medicine, and we greatly appreciate our patients who participate in these studies.

Our areas of specialty include but are not limited to: BPH (enlarged prostate), Low Testosterone, ED (erectile dysfunction), Urination problems, Overactive Bladder, Peyronie’s disease, Ejaculation problems, and Incontinence.

Who can participate in our studies?

Both established patients and new patients may wish to enroll in clinical studies at MHB. Participation is entirely voluntary and you do not have to be in a study to receive medical care at MHB. If you are interested in participating in, or learning additional information about one of the studies below, please contact us.

Conditions we frequently study include:

  • Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH, enlarged prostate, prostatic hyperplasia)
  • Benign prostatic obstruction
  • Bladder outlet obstruction
  • Ejaculation dysfunction, such as:
    - Premature
    - Delayed
    - Anorgasmia
  • Delayed orgasm
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Hormone Replacement Therapy
  • Hypogonadism (low testosterone, testosterone deficiency)
  • Infertility
  • Lower urinary tract symptoms, such as:
    - Nocturia
    - Urgency
    - Frequency
    - Hesitancy
    - Intermittency
  • Nocturnal enuresis
  • Neurogenic detrusor over-activity
  • Orchalgia (testicular pain)
  • Overactive bladder:
    - Detrusor Hyperreflexial
