Male Infertility

One out of seven US couples will experience infertility. In approximately half the cases there is an abnormality in the quantity or quality of sperm that contributes to the difficulty achieving a pregnancy or can't have children.

Some of the more common causes of male infertility include:

- Varicocele (swollen veins in the scrotum)

- Hormonal abnormalities

- Genetic issues

- Obstructions

Determining the underlying cause of male infertility requires skill and expertise.

We have treated thousands of couples experiencing male infertility who have then been able to grow their families through a successful pregnancy.

Some couples are referred to MHB with a known fertility problem, while others simply wish to be evaluated.

We work closely with the leading female fertility specialists in the greater Boston area to seamlessly coordinate care.
